MTEX Performance – Top NASDAQ gainer on November 7

According to Yahoo finance, Mannatech stocks (listed as MTEX) were amongst the 10 biggest percentage gainers on Nasdaq at the close of trading on November 7 2014.

Rob Sinnott, CEO and Chief Science Officer at Mannatech, commented: “…congratulations…[to] Mannatech [for being] the top gaining stock (64.1%) on the NASDAQ index yesterday based on solid third quarter earnings. It’s all about focus and execution.  There is no magic to this we just need to strive to be a little better every day.”

Mannatech announced healthy financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2014 last week.

Third quarter net sales 2014 for Mannatech were USD$55.6 million, an increase of 25.2% as compared to USD$44.4 million in the third quarter of 2013. Hit “Like” to show your support of these healthy sales results!

Dr. Rob Sinnott, CEO and CSO, commented, “The growth in net sales reflects the continued expansion of our business, the recent launch of our Uth skin care product in markets outside of North America, and the anniversary of our loyalty program.”

 

urlFor the three months ended September 30, 2014, Mannatech’s operations outside of North America accounted for approximately 63.4% of consolidated net sales, whereas in the same period in 2013, operations outside of North America accounted for approximately 57.8% of consolidated net sales.

For the three months ended September 30, 2014, Asia/Pacific net sales increased by USD$8.3 million, or 37.7%, to USd$30.3 million, as compared to USD$22.0 million for the same period in 2013 primarily because of growth in the number of active associates and growth in the revenue per active associate and member. The Asia/Pacific region comprises Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, and Hong Kong).

Mannatech Launches  A New Advanced Immune Support Product

Mannatech Appoints Eric W. Schrier To Board Of Directors

On November. 3, 2014, Mannatech Incorporated announced the appointment of Eric W. Schrier to the Board of Directors, effective October 28, 2014.Stanley J. Fredrick, Chairman of the Board of Mannatech, Incorporated, commented, “Mr. Schrier brings a wealth of valuable experience in digital and print media, customer acquisition, and direct selling.”

EricSchrier2Mr. Schrier, age 62, has held a number of senior executive positions plus more recently, board roles:

  • President and CEO, The Reader’s Digest Association January 2006 to March 2007.
  • Chairman, Board of Directors for Edible Media, a multi-platform media company in the farm-to-table food space (current).
  • Serves on the Boards of Directors for TEN (The Enthusiast Network), American Chemical Society , Reader’s Digest Association  and MeQuilibrium.
  • He has previously served on the boards of Willow House, Demdex Corp  and Bonnier USA .
  • Since January 2009, he has consulted with large media corporations to help them create and pursue their digital strategies and diversify their revenue streams.

Mannatech Antioxidant Product Receives Two New Patents

On October 15 2014, Mannatech announced the issuance of two new patents pertaining to its Ambrotose AO formulations, increasing the total patents held by the company to 98.

Mannatech received the Certificate of Grant from both the Indian and Australian Patent Offices for their Ambrotose AO formulation pertaining to the Methods and Compositions for Modified Release of Nutritional Supplements. The Australian patent was issued on September 18, 2014. Both patents will remain in effect for 20 years from the date of filing.

There are currently 33 patents issued worldwide to Mannatech for the technology pertaining to this formula. Overall, 98 patents have been issued worldwide to Mannatech for the technology pertaining to its Ambrotose®, Ambrotose AO, GI-ProBalance®, and PhytoMatrix® product formulations and in the field of biomarker assays.

“The vast majority of antioxidant supplements rely on high-dose synthetic ingredients,” said Dr. Rob Sinnott, CEO and Chief Science Officer at Mannatech. “We knew when we launched Ambrotose AO back in 2003 that a better approach would be to formulate a synergistic blend of fat- and water-soluble food-sourced antioxidant nutrients that resemble the nutrients found in a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.”
